Correspondence, legal documents, financial records, maps, plats, and printed material relating to Goeth's legal career and business activities, particularly with the German immigrant community in central Texas. Includes information about Goeth's father, Carl A. Goeth (1835-1912), and his brothers Adolf C. Goeth and Max Goeth; together with materials documenting Goeth's business partnerships. With William A. Wurzbach (1869-1939) he formed the firm Wurzbach and Goeth from 1890-1896; about 1902 he was part of the firm Webb and Goeth with James E. Webb (1859-1916), continuing until Webb's death; the remainder of his career was with Goeth, Webb and Goeth, joined by James E. Webb, Jr. (1895-1973) and at various times by his sons Arthur and Fred Goeth.
